• June Reads 2020
Hello everyone! Welcome to my June reads of 2020! Since starting back at work, I haven’t had the time to read as much as I wanted to. I’m slowly getting back into a routine and I am going to schedule reading time to make sure I get through all the books I have on my to-read list!
  • The Awesome Blogger Award
This is a very exciting post as it’s my first blogger award! I was kindly nominated for The Awesome Blogger Award by Luci from lucibarker.co.uk, so go and check out her gorgeous blog!
  • The Existence Of Amy
I was kindly sent ‘The Existence Of Amy’ by Lana Grace Riva in exchange for an honest review. First of all, I can’t put into words how much I love this book. It’s such an easy to follow plot, but it has so much meaning behind it, making you understand the challenges of what some people have to go through on a daily basis.
  • The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
I was filled with nervous excitement to start reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I love The Hunger Games trilogy, but throughout the reader is persuaded to hate President Snow, which I do. So, why would I want to read a prequel all about him?
  • Good Girl, Bad Blood
I bought Good Girl, Bad Blood (GGBB) a couple of weeks ago and didn’t pick it up until yesterday. I desperately wanted to read it, the thought of finishing it too quickly was stopping me from picking it up. But that is exactly what I did.
  • One Of Us Is Lying
As a new fan of mystery, crime and thrillers, I haven’t read many books of these genres. However, I was enthralled by each of the books including this one.
  • Staying Focused While Working From Home
If you are still working, you might find things that will easily distract you. (especially since I have just bought the new Animal Crossing on the switch) But here are a few tips to keep you focused during the workday!
  • A Good Girls Guide To Murder
Every time I put this book down to either go to work, eat or any other human activity, my mind was so impatient and there was an itch to instantly pick it back up again. I can’t get over the exciting, page-turning events taking place throughout this book and now without a doubt, I will be buying plenty more young adult crime thrillers.
  • A Travellers Guide To Sight Seeing In Prague
Bright buildings, extraordinary history and amazing culture. Czech Republic’s most popular city has the charm to make anyone fall in love with its beauty. Whether you love architecture, unusual food or just want to quench your thirst with a good beer, Prague is definitely the place to be.
  • Everything Everything
Can I just say that this book is probably top of the list of the books I’ve read this summer and definitely a good summer read even though I finished it in 2 days! The cover is absolutely beautiful!
  • All The Bright Places
Let me just start out by saying this book is incredibly moving and not for the faint-hearted. I have never cried and felt so many emotions for a set of characters in the books I’ve read. People may compare this to ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ By John Green due to the similar storylines and events that occur, but I adore ‘All the Bright Places’ much more and feel a stronger bond with the characters.
  • How I Write My Reviews

  • The Girl On The Train
Out of all the books I’ve read, this is the first thriller I have read and I can tell you now it won’t be the last. The suspense throughout the book from the very beginning all the way till the end grips you in a way no other book will.
