Hello everyone!! It has been a good while since I’ve written a blog post but I am (hopefully) going to be writing them semi-regularly again! Life kind of got in the way towards the end of last year so I decided to take a little break. I finally feel ready to come back and ease myself back into blogging and writing book reviews, I didn’t realise how much I missed it!
Happy Friday everyone! It’s finally the weekend and I’m very excited to sit and read the whole time! I have a super exciting blog post for you today as it’s my stop on The Write Reads Ultimate Blog Tour for You’ll Be the Death of Me by Karen McManus! I’ve been a big fan of McManus for a couple of years now and I can never resist reading any of her new books. After the blog tour for The Cousins last year, I was so excited to see that TWR was doing another one for her new YA thriller!
Happy Friday you wonderful people! I hope you all have a nice weekend planned? Today I am kicking off the book tour for this incredibly fun and fascinating Historical Fantasy, The Crystal Palace Chronicles: Star of Nimrod. I’m very quickly becoming a big fan of time travel plots so I’m looking forward to sharing my review with you all!
Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far? It’s very chilly here so I’ve just been tucked up on the sofa with a blanket and a book all day. Today is my stop on the Cruel Castle blog tour, the sequel to Savage Island by Bryony Pearce. This series definitely isn’t for the faint-hearted, so carry on reading if you dare!
Hello Everyone! I can’t believe it’s the middle of October already, I really have been slacking with the blog posts the past couple of months but I have been sooo busy. I will be posting a September Wrap Up this week only though I did read two books last month, it will probably be more of an overall book and life update. Anyway, I have just finished reading book 4 of Matt Wesolowski’s Six Stories series with the Write Reads gang so I thought I would share my thoughts so far. I’ve been loving this series so far and I can’t wait to carry on with the series.
Hello everyone! I have been a very busy bee recently with some very exciting things in the works so I haven’t really had time to do a lot on my blog recently. I keep saying I’m coming back and going to post regularly and then this goes out the window. However, I am so close to finishing my Goodreads reading challenge, this would be the first year I will actually finish it! I only have two books left to read which is very exciting.
Happy Friday everyone! Today is my stop on The Write Reads Ultimate Blog Tour for Lies Like Wildfire by Jennifer Lynn Alvarez. This is a bit of a different mystery/thriller than what I’m used to but I still really enjoyed it and loved how much I got into reading it. I think this is my last blog tour for a while but don’t worry, I have a bunch of book reviews that need writing and posting. So keep an eye out!
I’ve finally had the chance to sit down and write the review for my most anticipated read of the year! If you don’t already know, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Good Girl, Bad Blood are probably two of my favourite books ever. The third book has now been added to this list as well because I was not disappointed!
Before even reading, I knew this would be a book I would like, but I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Everything from the magical world-building and many plot twists to the remarkable adventure these characters embark on filled me with pure excitement. I ended up reading it in one sitting because I was instantly hooked from page one. This is definitely an epic middle-grade fantasy you don’t want to miss!
The Meeting Point is one of the best drama-filled, adorable romances I’ve read in a long time. Everything from the sweet plot-line, lovable characters and cute Californian town kept me absorbed from start to finish. I can’t count how many times I laughed, smiled and even blushed throughout this book, it truly ticks all the boxes.
