Love Almost by Hayley Doyle

This book was very heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one. Apart from what felt like a slow start to me, I ended up really enjoying it. The whole story revolves around Chloe’s grief after her boyfriend of 5 months, Jack, was killed in an accident. I really felt for Chloe throughout, because although she only knew him for a short amount of time, she was the one who was with him for his last few months.

Just Like You by Nick Hornby

I’ve never read any of Nick Hornby’s novels, so when I got approved for the arc on NetGalley I was so excited! It’s a very clever, funny and charming novel that I enjoyed the majority of the time. For some reason, finishing this book took me a lot longer than usual, someone on twitter replied to me to say that I am probably just taking it all in and enjoying it rather than just reading to get it finished.

August Wrap Up

Can you believe it’s the last day of August already?!? Time flies when you’re sat doing nothing for months. August has been a great month for me overall, I’ve read some great books, organised my blog and signed up to some more blog tours for the end of the year! Very exciting!
