Book Tag

Days of the Week | Book Tag

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I had such a lovely relaxing bank holiday weekend just sat in the sun reading. I finally have a bit of a tan now as well so I dont have to worry about being so pale in summer! What did you all do this weekend?

Today I have a fun Days of the Week book tag for you, showing some of my favourite and weirdest books!

Thank you Olivia from Shelves of Starlight for tagging me in the Days of the Week Book Tag! If you don’t already follow her blog or social media go do that now and check out her answers to this tag!

Secret Book Sunday – What book or series do you secretly love but you don’t always tell people?

I have a few books by Jenn Bennet that I really love and I think I have mentioned these books once before in a blog post briefly. I’ve read these multiple times because they are so easy to read and very cute YA romances. They are a comfort read for me so I always read them when I’m feeling very down or ill.

Mash Up Monday – What two books or series do you think would be cool if they were mashed up as one?

This one popped into my head quite quickly which surprised me. Normally I take ages thinking of answers to these types of questions. Anyway, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and The Unadjusteds by Marissa Noelle! I just think being back in the hunger games but all the tributes had altered DNA with super abilities. I would definitely love that!

Trilogy Tuesday – What is your favourite trilogy?

This is a hard one for me, all the trilogies I’m reading are half done, I’m waiting for the next books to come out or I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet. I think out of the ones I have finished: The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Maze Runner series, The Hunger Games has to be my favourite!

Wacky Wednesday – What book has the wackiest story or the wackiest cover?

This is actually one of my boyfriend’s books that we got from a charity shop that is really weird and wacky. A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian is about a British family that has moved to Ukraine and it is meant to be quite funny and all about their family drama. The cover and the title is just so weird but I’m so intrigued!

Throwback Thursday – What book or series brings back memories from your past?

This is certainly The Mortal Instruments for me. I adore this series and not just because it’s an incredibly addicting fantasy but it is one of the first series I read. I never used to enjoy reading as much as I do now but this book series definitely had something to do with piquing my interest in reading. Finally, I knew how it felt to absorb yourself into a magical world and care for characters. To then be absolutely devastated when something happens to them!

Freaky Friday – What book freaked you out the most or what cover?

This is a weird one that not so much freaked me out but creeped me out: The Doll Factory by Elizabeth Macneal. One of the characters Silas was so incredibly creepy. You can tell he was going to something awful eventually and I just got really bad vibes from him the more into the book I got. He also gave me this weird chilling feeling that ran down my spine towards the end of the book. He is definitely a strange, weird, creepy man.

Shelfie Saturday – Post a picture of your favourite book shelf, couple of shelves or an entire bookcase!

I love seeing everyone’s bookcases on this tag and I’m excited to share mine! For my Birthday I got a new bookcase to manage the overflow of my books but this one has filled up way too quickly! My thinner one is still there that I can start using again as well. I just love my bookcases though, I could sit and stare at them all day every day!

I nominate
