I can’t believe it’s the end of 2020 already. I hope you all are doing ok and are still staying safe in these crazy times. It’s nearly Christmas though and that’s something good to look forward to, right?
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I really want to finish World War Z and although I’m halfway through, I have other books I need to finish first before I can pick it up again. This is my plan for today, so we will see how much I can get through.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I’m more of a mood reader than a season reader. I also only half plan what I’m reading next. I will choose the next 3 books I want to read but it nearly always changes when I get to the next book on the list.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I don’t think there is any I’m still waiting to come out this year. But I am so excited for Beth O’Leary’s new book The Road Trip which is coming out April 2021! I read both The Flat Share and The Switch this year and really enjoyed them both!
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I would love to try and read The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes before the end of the year. The way things are going, It doesn’t look like I will have much time to fit it in. We will see though!
The Beekeeper Of Aleppo I want to read. I did start it, but didn’t get very far at all before I had to read a couple of books for blog tours. I’m hoping to get to it soon.
I’ve just ordered the first book of A Court of Thorns and Roses and I really want to read before the end of the year. I’ve seen a lot about it recently and I don’t know why I’ve never heard of it before this year when I used to read a lot of fantasy books.
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I just finished The Cousins by Karen M. McManus this morning and I really enjoyed it. There wasn’t much I could fault from it at all! But I still think A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson is still up there as my favourite book of the year.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?
I have already signed up to a few blog tours for the start of the year and I will setting a goal of 50 books on goodreads like I did this year. Other than that, I haven’t really thought too much about what I want to read until just now and I do have quite a few books I want to read next year!

The Midnight Library By Matt Haig
The Guest List by Lucy Foley
