It’s January!!! We’ve not had the best start to the year but let’s hope that it can only get better. I had a massive reading slump in December because I was so busy. I didn’t want to start any new books because I didn’t have time to even finish the ones I already started. This month I already feel I have more time and with us being in lockdown again, I have even more time to sit and read which is good.
Hello everyone! I hope everyone’s week is going good. I have a couple of days off work so I’m trying to do a lot of reading! Today is my stop on The Write Reads blog tour for A Sparrow Alone by Mim Eichmann. Thank you for a spot on the tour and an e-copy of the book in exchange for an honest review!
What a great post to start 2021 with! I haven’t been reading a lot of fantasy recently but this book has instantly got me hooked again! So I am beyond excited to be a part of the @The_WriteReads Blog Tour, Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston and I can’t wait to share my review with everyone because I adored this book!
I can’t believe it’s 2021 tomorrow! I’ve had such a weird but wonderful year in so many ways. I am grateful for all the time I’ve spent at home has helped me improve my blog and allowed me to find the time to read some amazing books.
Continue to stay safe everybody and lets hope things start to pick up in 2021! Now onto my top reads of 2020!
One good thing about this year and especially this month are all the purchased and gifted books I received. I really do need to get another bookcase because books are starting to overflow.
So because I have received quite a few books this month, I decided to do my first book haul post! I also have a very exciting post planned for tomorrow as well which is my Top Ten Books of 2020!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Who else is excited for the big day tomorrow?!? I know I have a few books wrapped under […]

This book was very heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one. Apart from what felt like a slow start to me, I ended up really enjoying it. The whole story revolves around Chloe’s grief after her boyfriend of 5 months, Jack, was killed in an accident. I really felt for Chloe throughout, because although she only knew him for a short amount of time, she was the one who was with him for his last few months.
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a nice week. I’ve had a very busy few days and I feel exhausted. Today I had to go for a blood test which then ended up with me being dragged Christmas shopping after. So, I am really looking forward to getting cosy in bed and going to sleep!
