I can’t believe it’s May already, April just flew by! It’s finally my week off from work and I’m so excited to see my friends at the end of the week for my birthday. It has been way too long. The new bookcase is finally up now, so I have plenty of room to buy more books!
Hello Everyone!! I hope you are all doing well? It’s about time I did a Meet the Book Blogger post on my blog seeing as I’ve been here for over a year consistently now! I found these questions so hard because there are so many characters and books that I love. Anyway, here you go!
Hello everyone!! I’m back with another blog tour, but this is very special as it’s the WINNER of BBNYA 2020. I joined very late last year and The Lore of Prometheus was the book I was given to read. I’m so excited to finally share my thoughts with you all after so long.
Hello! How is everyone today? I am absolutely exhausted, I really struggled to get up for work this morning. I’m hoping to get back into a routine again soon so I can find time to read, blog and play a few games as well. It’s my stop on The Write Reads ultimate blog tour today for Kate in Waiting, a very adorable YA romance! I read this curled up on the sofa on Saturday and I couldn’t have asked for a better book to read after such a long week.
Happy Thursday Everyone! I am a day behind and really thought it was Wednesday today. One day closer to the weekend though! I’m so excited to say I have finally read The Inheritance Games and LOVED IT! I love YA mysteries and this one absolutely did not disappoint. Here is my review for this amazing book!
Hoppy Easter Everyone! I hope you are all filling up on chocolate for those who celebrate it. I’ve had a very busy weekend already and I’m absolutely dead after climbing a mountain yesterday but it was so much fun and can’t wait to do another again soon.
Hello everyone! Today is my spot on The Write Reads Blog Tour, I was really excited to start this because everyone else’s reviews have been amazing! Unfortunately, my headache’s haven’t been getting much better and it was starting to hurt to read from my phone. I am going to buy a kindle or a tablet soon so I have a bigger screen to read e-books on so I will be going back to this one later.
As The Institute is my first Stephen King book, I didn’t really know what to expect. I have watched some of the film adaptations and yeah, they did scare me. So, I was a bit sceptical about starting it, I like my sleep and I didn’t want to be kept up by ghosties. However! It ended up being more eerie and chilling than scary, but you can’t stop reading because too much is happening.
This was a very last-minute blog tour for me and I dropped everything to start reading this book. It’s not normally something I would pick up but I am so glad I did. As soon as I started reading, I couldn’t stop. The story was completely captivating and the characters were so interesting, it’s very easy to care for them and get wrapped up in their lives. It’s so beautifully written, sometimes like poetry and it is easy to get lost in the snowy setting. It makes the story that bit more chilling and engaging.
I very quickly became a fan of Josie Jaffrey last year, so I hopped on the blog for The Gilded King as soon as it was announced. Apart from a couple of Twilight books, I’ve never read any books about vampires but I’ve got to say this book really surprised me. I was instantly hooked and I couldn’t put it down!. The story was fast-paced and engaging, I fell in love with all the characters and couldn’t wait to learn more about them. But I especially love the dark, paranormal and dystopian twists throughout as well as the romance between some of the characters.
