WWW Wednesday | 10th March 2021

Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s was a very chilly morning here and extremely hard to get out of bed but I’m now done for the day! It’s been a couple of weeks since my last WWW Wednesday and I have been reading a lot! I’ve also got stuck in a hole, the hole of being addicted to the series A Court of Thorns and Roses. WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS SERIES EARLIER! I’m now on book two and I just love it. Anyway, let’s see what else I’ve been reading!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Taking on a World of Words, where you just answer three questions.

What are you currently reading?

The Institute by Stephen King

Yes, I am still reading this. I will get through it eventually. I’ve started reading bits per day instead of trying to read big chunks and it’s making it easier to read. I’m in the last section of the book now and I can’t wait to finally see how it all ends!

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

I’m halfway through the second book in this series and I already don’t want it to finish. I can feel the massive reading slump coming after reading a really good book or series. I didn’t know what to expect going into the second book because somehow I’ve stayed oblivious to this series for a while but I love all the twists that keep you on your toes. The characters are so unique and interesting that it’s just so hard to put down!

What have you recently finished?

Marrow Charm by Kristin Jacques

Marrow Charm is the 6th place finalist for BBNYA. It’s such an interesting dystopian/fantasy full of action and adventure. It was very difficult to put down once I got into it. You can read my review here!

Cemetery Boys by Aidan Thomas

I can’t tell you all enough to go and read this book! It’s such an uplifting but utterly heartbreaking fantasy about Yadriel, a trans boy wanting to be accepted by his family and prove to everyone that he is a brujo. I was completely invested as soon as I started reading it and then just loved everything about it. Read my review here!

Rangers Oath by Blake Arthur Peel

This is the 5th place finalist of the BBNYA and another amazing fantasy! This is very fast-paced and easy to read, I really enjoyed it all the way through and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Read my review here!

The Gilded King by Josie Jaffrey

I’ve said before that I’m not really a big fan of vampires. That has all changed now thanks to Josie Jaffrey. Since reading The Wolf and the Water last year, I had to read some of her other books. I can now say I am a fan of vampires, well Josie’s version so far anyway. This is the 4th place finalist in the BBNYA and my review will be up on the 13th of March!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

This series is definitely going to take over my life for a bit. I seriously can’t believe I’d only heard of this late last year! I really enjoyed this book and absolutely love the characters and the world. This was on my Trope-ical Readathon TBR list for the Enemies to Lover trope and I’m so glad it finally gave me the chance to start this series.

The Inheritance Games by

After seeing this everywhere last year I had to go out and buy it. That was a good few months ago now and I’ve still not picked it up. This is another book on my Trope-ical tbr for the Absent Parent trope. I’m really looking forward to starting this because I’ve heard such great things and the second one is out this year!

That wraps up my WWW Wednesday for this week! Let me know in the comments what you’re currently reading, or if you’ve read any of these books!
