February Wrap Up

It’s nearly the end of February, I don’t know about you but it went super quick for me. I haven’t been up to an awful lot really apart from working, reading and also binge-watching Superstore on Netflix.

March is going to be a very busy month. I have a few blog tours but I also have the Trope-ical Readathon as well that JenJen Reviews is hosting! I won’t be putting my full March TBR here because it will just be too long. Head over to my Trope-ical Readathon TBR to see what else make an appearance on my blog next month!

February Books

Bad Habits by Flynn Meaney

If your looking for a laugh out loud book with a rebellious, feminist female character then look no further! I couldn’t get over how much I enjoyed reading this. It’s made me look at other funny and quirky reads like this. Read my review here.

Heartbreak Cafe: No Experience Required by Janet Quin-Harkin

I kindly got sent this book by Elfie Books and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. After having a few rough days, this was perfect to sit down with because it was short, easy and fun to read. It’s such a cute romance about innocent teenagers in the 1980s and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Read my review here.

Buddy Read: The Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

I loved this months buddy ready, I found it very hard not to read this book in one sitting. The story and the characters are amazing and I may or may not have had a little cry at the end. I already have my eye on the authors next one! My review will be coming soon.

The Institute by Stephen King

I’m still making my way through this one and I’m about halfway now. I love the story so far, it’s so interesting but it still gives you that weird creepy feeling. My plan this weekend is to get this finished, keep your eyes peeled for a review soon!

Marrow Charm by Kristin Jaques

My stop on The Write Reads blog tour for the BBNYA Finalist is on Sunday! I only started this last night but I had to put it down after the first chapter because I had the worst headache ever. I’ve picked it up again today and I will probably end up finishing it. I can’t stop reading!

March Books

Rangers Oath (Fall of Radiance) by Blake Arthur Peel

Another BBNYA blog tour! I just can’t say no to these blog tours because I always find some amazing books through them. This is another fantasy and we all know I’ve been loving this genre at the moment! Look out for my review on the 3rd of March!

The Gilded King by Josie Jaffrey

You guessed it. Another BBNYA blog tour and another fantasy! I read Josie’s The Wolf and the Water last year and loved it and I’ve heard amazing things about this one. I’ve not read many books about vampires so I’m excited to get stuck into this one. My review will be up on the 13th of March!

Mina and the Undead by Amy McCaw

If you don’t follow me on Twitter then you are missing out on the weekly Monday #TeamMina challenges, for a chance to win a copy of the Mina and the Undead! It sounds like the perfect young adult horror for me so I’m really looking forward to reading it. Look out for my review on publication day, April 1st!

Buddy Read: Bloodlust & Bonnets by Emily McGovern

Next months buddy read is a graphic novel. I’m really excited to read this as graphic novels aren’t something I normally read. I’ve also gone from not reading vampire books to reading 3 next month!
